Abstract Background Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic disease that affects the respiratory, digestive, and reproductive systems. Peroxynitrite, member ROS, very noxious molecule formed from reaction nitric oxide (NO) superoxide can damage cellular components such as proteins, lipids, DNA. Studies have shown peroxynitrite levels are elevated in people this increased stress contribute development lung damage, airway obstruction, other symptoms disease. Therefore, understanding role pathogenesis important for developing new therapeutic strategies reduce improve quality life Methods In study, we quantified levels, could serve early biomarker CF.
